Kid Stuff -Spring

Anyone in grades 4 & up who is interested in scrapbooking can come to North Tonawanda Library Scrapbook Club. Bring your photos, supplies and imagination to the scrapbooking club. Invite your friends and share ideas. Our club meeting will be on Monday afternoon from 3:30 – 4:30 PM, April 28 .
READ TOTHE DOGS-Children in Grades 1-6, practice your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. Sandy and her handler will be at the library on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, May 4 from 2-4:30 P.M. This time includes a flexible 15-minute break for Sandy. You may sign up for a 15-minute session by calling the library.
A Spring Toddler Storytime program for 2 year olds will be
offered on Wednesdays, May 7- June 4. Sessions will be at 10:30 OR 11:30. Programs are designed to introduce your toddler to the joy of books and the joy of visiting the library.
Children MUST be two years old by the first session and must be accompanied by an adult. Siblings will not be able to attend. Registration for residents of North Tonawanda, Wheatfield, or Pendleton is required and begins April 21,in person or by telephone.
A Spring Preschool Story Hour program for 3-5 year olds will be offered from May 8- June 13. Your choice is Thursdays or Fridays at 10:00-10:45 or 11:15-12:00. These programs are for 3 - 5 year-olds who are ready to enjoy Story Hour on their own. Registration for residents of North Tonawanda, Wheatfield, or Pendleton begins April 28.
BEDTIME STORY FUN: SHOULD ANIMALS WEAR CLOTHES? Join us for Bedtime Story on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30-7:15. Listen to stories about silly animals getting dressed. Bring a picture of yourselves in your special clothes. Put on your pajamas and gather up a favorite blanket or teddy. This is a family storytime for children ages 2 & up accompanied by an adult.
AMERICAN GIRL SPECIAL EVENT:A Mother’s Day Dessert Night Celebration! Please join us for a sweet evening. WHEN: Thursday, May 19th TIME: The girls will be coming into the the room at 6:30 and the adults at 7:00.
- If you would like to bring a sweet snack, please sign up in the Children's Room.
- The girls and girls & their dolls may come dressed in their party clothes
- R.S.V.P. by May 12th in person or by phone.
Children must be residents of North Tonawanda, Wheatfield, or Pendleton for any programs that require registration. All other programs are free and open to the public.
